The element of Helium Was Discovered by Sir William Ramsay and independently by N. A. Langley and P. T. Cleve. It was founded in London, England and Uppsala, Sweden. It was discovered in the year of 1895.The origin of the name was from the Greek word "helios" meaning "sun".A French astronomer, Pierre-Jules-César Janssen (1824-1907), first obtained evidence for the existence of helium during the solar eclipse of 1868 in India when he detected a new yellow line.
